For some time I had thought Jeremiah to be a son of John Purser, but as of late, I have come to believe that he was a nephew of John. He is not mentioned in John's will, but all of John's 8 children are. I find no deeds, etc between John and Jeremiah, but there are deeds between John and several of his sons. Another thing that I found is that William Purser, son of Jeremiah, gift deeds to Hugh Pusser, grandson of John Purser, certain lands that William had inherited from his father, this appears to have taken place shortly before William left North Carolina.
