Also have Beds Purser ancestors. Mine are those in Leighton Buzzard in C19. By following particular names in family groups (Abraham & Charles particularly) once past civil registration I have concluded that my direct line goes from:
my mother Frances Mary Purser 1914-1968 b. Birmingham
Frank 1874-1954 b. Leamington Spa
Charles 1838-1927 b. Leighton Buzzard
John 1802-1849 b. LB
Richard 1758-1834 b. Clapham, Beds
Abraham 1712-bef 1785 b. Houghton Conquest
Abraham 1687-? b. Cople
Richard 1648-1693 b. Cople
Nicholas 1612-? b. Cople
then more speculaively still Richard 1568-? b. Cople
Lawrence b. ?

Would gladly pass on files if anyone wants & would appreciate thinking on earlier Purser connections.
Even more would I like to come across anyone with Leamington Spa &/or Leighton Buzzard relations.
