Here's what I've got for certain. John Purser, 1750-1826,Goose Creek Twnship, Mecklenberg County,NC was the father of Richard William Purser, 1802, NC aft 1850, Marion Co, AL. Married first to Catherine? in NC. Three children shown in 1830 census of Henry Co, GA, one male and two females, all under five years of age. Next married Elizabeth Scott Bently Lee, widow of William Lee, on 2/2/1837 in Henry Co, GA. Census of 1850, Marion Co, AL shows Richard Purser, age 48, b. NC
Elizabeth, age 41, (she was born 1/15/1810, d'd abt 1890), b'd GA
Hampton M., age 18,b'd GA (by first wife)
William, age 16, b'd GA( this was William Lee, son of William Lee)
Martha L., age 16, b'd GA, (by first wife)
Thomas,(Richard Thomas), age 8, b'd GA(first child of Richard and Elizabeth)
James M. (Monroe), age 7, b'd GA (ditto ditto)
Moses J. (Jeff), age 5, GA (ditto ditto)
Frances, (Martha Frances), age 3, b'd AL (ditto ditto)
Henry F. Mc, (Henry Floyd Mc Donald), age 3 mo, b'd AL (ditto ditto)
