Ann: I live down in Franklin County. It was said from
our late Pursers that we were related to the Copiah County
Pursers. My G G Grandfather was William M. Purser b 1825
Ga. noted on the 1850 Simpson Co. Ms. census. We have tried
to find the connection, but have failed. I noticed you had
a late Henry Purser b 1810 Ga in Copiah County. Could you
tell me anymore about him? I recently went to the archives
in Jackson and tried to look him up, but back then they only
listed the head of household. William M. Purser and Nancy
Williamson had the following children in Simpson Co. Ms.
Elias Purser b 1848
Lily Purser b 1860 died young
Jackson P. Purser b 1862
Lafayette P. Purser b 1856
Mary Purser b 1869
Would certainly like to correspond with you on the Copiah
County Pursers.
