In 1803 Edward PURSER was enrolled in the Beds Dismounted Horse Artillery ~ he was 5' 4 and 3 quater inches

In Pavenham in 1803, 21 year old George PURSER, married labourer, volunteered for National Defence

In Oakley, Oliver PURSER, a 37 year old thatcher with 3 children under 10 volunteered

In St John's, Bedford on the 23rd March 1763 John PURSER enrolled in Militia

Philip PURSER of Wilstead, 1539 Muster list (he was a bylman)as was John PURSER from Houghton Conquest.
