Hi James, I believe we are related. My grandmother was Nora Tyra Mitchell and My great grandmother was Myrtle Purser Tyra.
I'm just starting myself and can't seem to
go any farther than Myrtle. However I do have
a copy of her obit. and it list her name as
Ollie Myrtle Tyra. My mom didn't even know her first name was Ollie. Grandma Mitchell had told me that her grandmothers name was Ollie Purser and that the name Black comes in somewhere but that was all she knew.
I have a cousin named Pat Robinson who married a Crisp. Are you one of her sons? If so that makes us 2nd cousins. Hope this little bit helps in your search. Look forward to hearing from you. Songia
