My mother's name is Rosina Francis Purser. Her father was Francis Purser. The Purser family lived in Peckham and Nunhead South East London. My Grandfather (Francis Purser) was famous for being a bare knuckle fighter on the barges on the Thames. His brother was the founder of Purser Ford, Old Kent Road, London. My Grandfather had 14 brothers and sisters, I have a wonderful photograph of them all. Many of my cousins resemble those in the photo which is wonderful as it brings it to life. Good luck with your search.
