William, thanks for the reply, but you are missing a generation. I, too, am descended from David Pusser, father of the four brothers. My great-great grandfather was Hugh Pusser, 1823-1864. His brother John was a little older, his age in 1843 is given as 29. Starting with these figures, I'll give both Buford's and my genealogy, BTW, I was born in 1932, 5 years before Buford. My line runs Hugh Pusser,great-great grandfather, Green Culpepper Pusser, great grandfather, Wade Hampton Pusser, grandfather, Millard V. Pusser, father, and myself, that makes 5 generations. Now Buford. John Pusser, great-great grandfather,Richard S. Pusser, great- grandfather, Hugh Pusser and Alice Smith, grand-parents, Carl Pusser and Helen Brown, parents, and Buford, that's the 5 generations. The children of Hugh and Alice are Gordon Pusser, Omi,(Naomi Florence) Pusser, Lester Pusser, Ben Pusser, Cora Pusser, Ruth Pusser, J. H. Pusser, Louise Pusser, and Carl Pusser.
