I now have the marriage entry for Hannah Purr and Edward William Callaway. It states that Henry Purr was her father and he was a shoemaker.
I found him in the 1851 census in England wife Jane. I found a marriage for a Henry Purr and Jane Pryke for 1827 in 1827 Parish: ST ANNE SOHO. I also found in the census a daughter living with them Mary A. Purr Lambeth Church, Surrey Middlesex, England, London Female 17. If anyone can help me with this family I would be so great full.
