Can anyone fill in details for a Sarah/Ella PURKEY or PERKEY, born in Ohio ca. 1848, died Manchester, Iowa 1907. Her parents were born in Pennsylvania. Sarah (sometimes listed as S. E.) married Civil War vet Columbus C. PRIDE in or around Pike Co., Indiana, between 1865 and 1870. The couple later moved to Nebraska (1880), then Iowa (by 1900). Children include Lawrence Ellwood, Erasmus Tilman (blind), Olive, and Levi.

Where in Ohio was she born? What were her parents' names? Where in Pennsylvania did they come from? When were Sarah and Columbus married?
