Family Puricelli

My name is Carlo Puricelli. I read your message about researching our geneology. 30 years ago, I researched my branch back to the year 1430. My, and I believe also your, ancestor's name is PIETRO and he was a representative of the Pope in the small city of Buscate. I was not able to find any information past the year of 1430 but in the archives of the Vatican in Rome, there should be some documents that refer to PIETRO.

Pietro had many children, and my branch comes from one of them. In Buscate, there are many people with the name Puricelli, but many of them moved to a city called Busto Arsizio or to another city called Varese.

When I was young, my father AMBROGIO told me about some of our relatives that immigrated from America. I have a picture of one man that I think was JOHN Puricelli. Maybe this was one of you?

I was born in 1943 in a city called Arconate which is a city located close to Buscate and which is 12 miles from Milan where I now live with my family.

If you would like to contact me, my e-mail address is

I hope to hear from you! Happy New Year!
