I know nothing.... just that my mother tried to locate him when she moved back to Idaho. So the year she searched was before 2005. She couldn't have gone far to look for him.. so maybe it was CA or another state close to ID. My grandmother was born in 1914.. so he was probably born around this year as well. Not sure why my mother was born in Weiser, ID.. she did not grow up there.. but maybe born there while passing through. My mom has no memories and there are no pictures of Earl/Louis Purdy(except the one she carried and was stolen) But she does have his last name and it is listed on my birth cert. as her maiden name. Family does not seem to know anything about him.. and my grandmother never married him. I thought since it was an out of ordinary way to die.. that maybe there would be a write up in a newspaper.. but it would help if I knew where this occured. The one person who does know.. is my step dad who is not answering his phone. I am going to have a Pastor near by do a curtesy visit to make sure he is ok. He lives in ID and we live in CA. Sometimes he can't figure out his cell phone... so when I can ask him.. I'll get back to you. Thanks for your reply! I do appreciate it..
