Cornelius Purdy born County Antrim Ireland circa 1780(sometimes called Neal Purdy or Purdie)
I have been trying for many years to find the names of family members or parents of Cornelius Purdy, but unfortunately I keep drawing a blank. Cornelius left Ireland and settled in Cumberland , England, where he married Jane Cook in Moresby Church England in 1812.
I have a feeling Cornelius may be a descendant (possibly grand or great grandchild?) of the William Purdy/Martha Peden line with their children being born 1720 upwards.
If any Purdy researchers have come across Cornelius/Neal Purdy/Purdie I would be truly grateful for any information.
