My GG Grandfather, Samuel D. Purdy (1818-1898) married to Samantha Ingersoll lived in Enfield NY. If anyone has any information as to his family, it would be greatly appreciated. There are several Purdys in the area according the census reports, but I don't have any information as to who his family members are.
