Looking for any info concerning John Purdom who died in Johnston Co., NC in 1762 and left a widow named Darius/Darcus/Dorcas (d. after 1765) and a son named John Purdom, Jr. He appears to have had close ties with a Thomas Jones, and owned property in Sampson/Duplin and Orange Cos., NC. Does anyone out there recognize these Purdoms?
