Wow this is great, and I never would have expected anything so quickly, thank you very much. I can't wait to look at the letters tomorrow. I have a feeling the information you provided is correct, because I knew a son or grandson probably lived locally. In the past the son showed absolutely no interest in keeping the family belongings, so I was really hoping to find someone else researching this branch of the Purcell family.
I spent a good part of 10 years researching and compiling information on each branches of my family and I treasure every old letter, diary and picture I have been lucky enough to collect. Anyway if this is the correct information I will do what I can to locate the son and see if these things may now have some value to him. Thanks again!
