George Punches b abt 1810 in PA; w/wife Rachel in Ross Co, OH, 1850
George and Rachel show up in the 1850 Ross County, Ohio, census with seven children, including a James, who was 6 then. I suspect this James later went by the name James Pontious and married Elizabeth Pry or Fry. James and Elizabeth appear in the 1880 Ross County census with a family of five chidren. Does anyone know whether James Pontious and James Punches might be the same person?
