Does the Punchard book go all the way back to New Englanders Joseph Hovey Punchard and his brother, Dr. William Punchard, both of whom requested permission to enter Stephen F. Austin's Colony in the Republic of Texas in 1832? (I'm assuming you're aware that one of Joseph Hovey Punchard's sons was William Francistown Punchard, who married third, Mrs. Elizabeth L. [Hanock] Aydelott; William F. and Elizabeth L. Punchard's son John Hancock Punchard was the father of John Edwin Punchard, Senior.)

William F. and Elizabeth Punchard--along with several other Punchards and Fishers--migrated from Austin County, Texas to McLennan Co.,several descendants migrating from McLennan to Crosby Co., Texas (?).

Hope to hear from you,

Betty McDade
