Does this match? I am jumping up and down like a dog right now panting with happiness. This really pulls things together for me a great deal. I am looking mostly at the Sharp line but found that Jane Sharp, who I suspected was the sister of my ancestor, Mary Sharp, married Lewis Pulse and thought I would follow up on it. Thomas Sharp, their father, is as far back as I can go right now. He was born 1775 in Berkeley Co, VA. According to the census records he had 6 children and I was trying to follow up on each of them to find out who they were and who they married. I found that Thomas moved from Berkely Co, VA to Monroe County, IL sometime in the 1830's and was not sure why. Then I found that his two sons, Horatio and John, had also moved to IL but to St. Clair Co, and his daugher Mary Sharp Harris has also moved to St. Clair County. I guess the whole family moved pretty much at the same time. I will go back to my census records and documents for St. Clair Co to look for the Pulse family now that I knwo who they are. I will be happy to do the research on that line in IL and let you know whatever I have found. Since I am not that familiar with the Pulse line yet, could you tell me who the parents (John and Phoebe) are? I have been going over the information on this family but find some of it confusing, I am just not clear yet where John and Phoebe fit in. If there is anything else you can think of to tell me about Lewis and his wife I would love to hear it.
