Hi, Betty! Monroe Traver Pultz was the son of Martin & Catharine Traver, of Michael D. & Gertrude Cookingham, of David & Maria Tippel, of Johann Michael and Barbara Cookingham. He was b. 17.7.1843 (Wurtemburg Church), graduated from Union College and got his MD from King's College (Columbia) in 1868. His practice was in Stanfordville, Dutchess Co. His first wife was Emma Bailey (d. 1878), his second Alice Clark, "a Democrat." I don't have any other info on his wives or whether he had children. (This info came from my own research and my lst cousin-once-removed, Richard Eaman Pultz, whose father, Lewis Alfred Pultz, did the research in the l920s and '30s.) What were the "strange circumstances" surrounding his death, and when was it? Do you know of any children, etc.?

Another Monroe Pultz was b. 1888 in New York State and d. 1980 New London, CT, but I don't know how he's related to Monroe Traver.

Helen Pultz
