I am trying to trace a William B Pulliam, who was born in NC around 1800 and then moved to Georgia. He named his son Bluford.I am almost certain he is related to the Pulliams in Person County around 1800-1820, but I cannot place him for sure. There is a William Pulliam on the 1820 census in Person County with the rest of the Pulliams, but I cannot be sure this is him, or how this person is related to the rest of them.
Others have traced the rest of the Pulliams that appear here, and there is a William Byrd Pulliam in the family at the right age, but someone has noted that William Byrd died in NC in 1846; if this is true, then he cannot be the William B Pulliam I am looking for.William B seems to be a dead end, but I am convinced that he is related to the Person County Pulliams.Does anyone have any further information on William Byrd, or on the William B I am looking for?I also understand that there is a Pulliam family cemetery in Caswell county, but it has not yet been indexed online.Does anyone have any information on that?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
