GETTING INTERESTING! Just previous to seeing your Post, I found marriage of Lindsey and Judith on Ancestry.com & they say info from Virginia Marriages, 1740-1850 and original data: Dodd, Jordan R., et al.. Early American Marriages: Virginia to 1850. Bountiful, UT, USA: Precision Indexing Publishers - just in case you are asked again.

Then I also got mad about not finding Lindsey in 1810 and going by that other info w/o source stating he had a daughter Elizabeth b. 1807 in Lancaster, Co., VA, I went back looking for ALL PULLEN'S and all spellings in Lancaster Co., VA. FOUND WHO I BELIEVE IS LINDSEY/LINDSAY. He is listed in index as Lindry. Page 355 is Wm. Pullen, p. 356 is Jno Pullen, Jno Pullen and Lindry (looks like could be Lindsey to me)Pullen and p. 357 is Fras Pullen, with no adult male.

Also found on Ancestry.com "Historical Register of Virginians in the Revolution. Chapter - Virginians in the Revolution, p. 642 is listed what looks like Lindsey Pullen with an "E" after his name, so have to find out what that means. Explanation must probably be in previous pages of the book.

Thaddeas Pullen is a new one to me. Will have to check that out.

Know what you mean about computer problems. I started with ROOTS I, and got up to ROOTS V and big program problems. Had 18,000 people plus sources. The programers updated the program and botched it up. We were moving and renovating at the same time. Thank goodness I had retrieved the old DOS out of the garage before the move. When I contacted them about the probelm, they were out of business. I had to start all over. I even have my old DOS computer w/all those people in the ROOTS III version, to the left of me and Windows '95 to the right of me with that goofed up ROOTS V and in middle in the corner the XP with FTM and have to use the other 2 as encyclopedias to enter all the stuff in to the XP. Don't know how I will live long enough to get it back to where it was, especially if I keep doing research.

I have e-mailed Tim Pullin to see about the DNA test. I got so excited about finding Lindsey/Lindsay/Lindry in 1810 in Lancaster Co., VA I almost let out a yell.

Thank you for your help. Will keep you posted if have a breakthrough on my Pullen line.
