Hi Brian,
We were in touch some time ago about the Pullans.
Looking at www.calverley.info I think I might have found the link between the two families of Pullans.
According to their records:
Martha Hargreaves was the daughter of John Hargreaves and Alice Pullan.
Alice was the daughter of John Pullan.
However, Martha also married a Pullan, namely William Pullan.
Location: Wrose and Idle.
