My gggrandmother was Mary "Polly" Poole (Pool? Puhl?) She was born in PA about 1793. She was illiterate. We do not know her parents names or the locality of her birth in PA. She married a David or a Benjamin Scott in Trinity Church, Utica, NY on Jan 2, 1816. This first husband died about 1827/8 leaving her with three young children, Benjamin, Catherine and David. She then married Peter Wright in Utica, NY about 1828. They migrated west into OH, later into ON, Canada where she lived out her remaining years.
Does she fit into any of your families?
