I have a Charles Marshall Pugh, born 1 July 1838 and died 1 Jan 1881. A brother named David Stratton Pugh, born 23 May 1840. Both were born in Charlotte County, Virginia to Charles Tisdale Pugh and Sarah Mildred Wheeler Pugh.
Charles Tisdale Pugh is listed as being born 25 Dec 1811 in Charlotte County and dying on 22 Aug 1865. Charles M. and David S. Pugh's grandparents are listed in my files as Samuel Ezekial Pugh (born abt 1772 and dying on 9 Jun 1854 and both buried in the Pugh Family Plot, Charlotte County, Virginia) and Susanna Thomas Pugh (born abt 1782 and dying abt 1850), and their great-grandparents were Thomas (born abt 1749 in Gooch County) and Nancie Tiller Pugh (born abt 1749 in Chesterfield County). I have the Pugh line further back into the 16th century.
Charles M. and David S. Pugh had 6 additonal male siblings and 2 female siblings based on the information in my files.
I cannot verify this information because I accumulated it before I knew to cite information, except for Samuel being buried in the cemetery listed above.
