They both where in the Civil War. Charles served with Co. A, 54 VA Regt. and David S. served in Co. A, 21 VA. Regt. Thier Civil Markers have been found in Charlotte Co., VA and we would like to find out more about the two men. The Cemetery is located close to Red House, Charlotte Co., VA. Charles enlisted in Jacksonville, March 28, 1862 and David enlisted in Red House, June 30, 1861. The Cemetery has just been cleared of overgrowth. The SCV and UDC plan a ceremonity and are looking for family information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
