I have been unsuccessful finding records of my family name with the spelling DePstrokonski. I have read that it is possible that my family name is probably without the prefix "de". Pstrokonski.
Your surname is close in spelling.
My family tells me that our family did orignate in Poland. Several imigrated to the US in the mid to late 1800's. Philadelphia, New York area. Previously a web site had indicated that the 1990 census had over 100 people with Pstrokonski in Poland. However, I am unable to find the site now. My understanding is that Poland has now limited access to these sites to protect the privacy of their citizens.
Please let me know if you think our families may be related.
Judy
