In 1860 census , Nancy has her son, I assume, William 41, and right below him is a Samuel age 10...so maybe she had a grandson named Samuel....anyway thanks again....appreciate any help I can get....was there ever a census that listed the slaves by name?...I found a 1860 list of their ages and sex yesterday for James Pryor....and he had a lot....
