I have come across a Pryor family on the 1880 Wright Co MO census. John E. Pryor is listed as 23 and being born in MO with both parents being born in MO. His wife is Sarah, aged 30 and born in SC with both parents being from NC. There is a 12 year old step son William R. born in MO and a daughter aged 2 named Aletha A. also born in MO. I am wondering if this might be John N. Pryor and a first wife. Any info would be appreciated.
