hi susan. i'm interested in pruntys and printys in ohio. i have a large database of pruntys - mostly all descendants of barnabus prunty b abt 1718 in ireland. one of his sons was william prunty who settled in ohio. i could never find much info on him until someone clued me in to the fact that he and his family often was listed as printy instead of prunty. william printy/prunty married rhoda coleman in 1770. he died in brown county ohio in 1826.

there's also a line of pruntys i know about that were in ohio, kentucky, and new jersey in the late 1700's and early 1800's. i have not been able to connect these folk up with my prunty line, though i'm pretty sure they are 'connectable'. if you have any prunty/printy info from this early time period i'd like to hear about it.

randy
