Not sure if this will be of any help but James Pruitt (various spellings) had a dau, Mary Ann b. ca 1843, MS. James was a bro to our Joseph who m. Sara Addie Bailey. They moved to Hardin Co., TN in mid 1850's. James & Joseph went to MS from Whitley Co., KY. If there is a connection, I would appreciate knowing about it. I "think" I may have a picture of Joseph Pruitt, at least I know he's a Pruitt because of facial features.
