Hi Pat,
My genealogy dates back to Samuel Pruden who was born in in 1825 in England. He came over to Canada in 1852. He married Margaret (unknown) and had 7 children: William, Tom, John, Mary, Sarah and Jane. Children of William are Deliah, Samuel and Mary, Thomas had Merlin and Clarence. Merlin is my grandfather.
I have more information but I have much more on my grandmother's side. She was a Gray. I have the names of all of Samuel and Margaret's grandchildren.
What are you looking for specifically? Most of the family settled in Ohio. My father, Merlin James was born in Fayette, Ohio.
I hope this helps and let me know what you have on the family. We just may be related. Pruden is not the most common name.
