Here's a suggestion to help get around the French-to-English
translation difficulties when browsing through web pages: go to URL
http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and in the appropriate spot in the
form, type in URL of the page you want translated (in this case,
http://www.genealogie.org/famille/provencher/) and select the kind of
translation you wish to have performed (French-to-English, in this
case). It will then bring up a translated version of the web page.
All links off the web page will continue to go through the babelfish
translator so you'll continue to get them in English. Although the
translation isn't perfect, it will be good enough so that you can get
the gist of most pages that you read.
