My mother is an artist and was/is greatly influenced by Jack's work on Black Bob. However there is very little in the public domain about who this man was (artistic influences/training/ who was the dog drawn as Bob? etc.) Mother has been in touch with David Prout (www.proutfamily.co.uk) and he has helpfully provided some information.
