Yes, I knew your uncle. We met at my home in Gettysburg during one of his medical convention trips to Baltimore.
Our families are descended from the two brothers, Johann Ludwig Protzmann and Johann Lorenz Protzmann. I would appreciate any information you would like to share. Blair and I spent the whole afternoon trying to cram years of research into a few short hours. The result was we neither one of us talked about our immediate families. We were concentrating on everything before 1900.
