Dear Mr. Prottsman,
I printed your Origin of rhe Prottsmann/Protzman Family for future reference, however, it does say you will continue at a later time. I can't seem to find the additional posting. Would you send it?
Also, upon a visit to Gettysburg in 1997 I found a book titled 'War of the Rebellion Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies, Series1 Vol, XXVII Part 1, reporting on page 65 "Mr. William Protzman, very fine men in Hagerstown have taken pains to count the rebels & could not make them over 80,000." I have since tried to locate that book and can not locate it. Anyway, is that a help to you in anyway?
Wendy J. Redington
