Dr Blair Protzman of Texas, now desceased, did a lot of work on the line of John Hoover Protzman, the father of the Ferdinand Protzman born in 1840. I am not sure who in his family is carrying on. Perhaps the Ferdinand Protzman who initiated the other follow-up message has picked up that guantlet.

Blair and I agreed that the family of John Hoover Protzman were direct descendents of the Protzmans that first settled in Graceham, Maryland. They crossed the Catoctin range to settle in the adjoining valley (Washington Co, MD).
