Good Evening Canon

My maternal family name was Protheroe. My Grandfather was Joseph and worked as a stevedore on the London docks in the early 1900's. He was honored in the World War 1 and died in 1931, married to Maud Lillian Goodrick, she died in 1948. They had seven children, Maud Lillian who died as a toddler, Walter, Lillian Maud, George and Arthur (twins) William, and my mother Beatrice. Unfortunately all are now dead, but the Protheroe name lives on. My Uncle George had five children, and his only son - George, had a son Geoffrey> I believe that he too has had a son.

All my mothers family were bough up in the east end of London. 5 Duff Street, Poplar, I know was one of their addresses.

I would love to hear any information or conections with the Protheroe family.

Kind regards
