Have just discovered maiden name and parents for Clarinda wife of James Rogers of Camden East, Ontario, and then Barrie, Ont.
James Rogers was born about 1816, died between 1871-1880, most likely in Ontario... and was the son of Armstrong Rogers and Margaret Jenkes.
In year 1880 after her husband had died, Clarinda is found at Port Huron, St. Clair County, Michigan with four young sons. Clarinda died there on Oct. 22, 1898; her death record states her parents were George PROSSER and Annie Hartin.
Other children that I have in my files for same George 1795-1827 and Annie born about 1799...
Dianna Prosser 1820-1870 married Daniel Wagar 1815-1887
Elizabeth Susannah Prosser 1824-1906 married to Alfred Keech senior and then to his cousin Vanranselaer Keech

I have names of eight children for James Rogers and Clarinda Prosser; one daughter died at Barrie, Ont. in 1872, have no idea when or where the others died, I suspect the USA- one of the sons (Daniel J. Rogers) died at Rochester, NYS in Nov. 1932 in a car accident.
