My name is Bob Andrews. I am in Cabarrus Co.,NC doing some Propst genealogy and I have a Martin Alexander Propst who married Lilly L. Hudson.Known children are-Robert W. Propst d-Oct. 2,1911 Cabarrus Co.,NC and Walter Lee Propst.One of Walters grandchildren now near 70 years old , remembers him saying that as a child, he recalled walking to Concord , NC. from Birmingham , Alabama behind an Ox-cart.I believe they were connected to Jacob Wilson Propst b-June 12,1815 in Lincoln Co.,NC and d-1859 in Pickens Co., AL and his wife Emiline Walton . They left Lincoln Co.,NC and went to Palmetto ,Pickens Co., Alabama . Is any one familiar with this family group ? I need to know who Martin A. Propst's father and/or siblings were.
