Hi,
Thanks for your input on Gaius Proctor.
Just so you'll understand my interest in Gaius Proctor, I wanted to mention that Eliza Ann Proctor and William Hayden are both buried in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, they both died in 1871, their tombstones says they were born in Massachusetts as does the IN census and one record indicates that their first daughter was born in or near Lowell, MA about 1830, apparently they then migrated to KY and then to IN.Though the 1850 and 1860 census shows a different age for Eliza Ann and neither correlates to 1805 or 1807 exactly, Eliza Ann's tombstone does list her date of birth as the 1805 one that I mentioned before.
These two are birth descendants of a relative of mine whose mother was a Hayden but this relative was adopted and raised by another family. That is why I am doing some research on this family and came upon the data on the Proctors and the Haydens.
Thanks again for your help.
