Hi, Marilyn.I got a message also, from Nora, about the Probasco web pages, and found some of my other names listed there. What she told me about Uzzel, or Usuel, that I found curious is that he was the only member of the family to fight for the confederate forces in the Civil War.Other than what you got from my posting, this is what I found on him..Uzzel Haggerty Probasco, son of Jacob and Mary Shay.Married 1st wife Phebe Beard Jan 18, 1846 Huron OH.Married 2nd wife Anna Mckenzie (also found as Mckinsjie and Mckensey) Sep 30, 1851 Huron OH.Married 3rd wife Corilla Ruley 1866.Children:1)Jay Addison b Feb 11854 Huron OH, d Feb 19, 1926 Enid OK 2) Ida May b 1856 OH,d 1865 Bloomington MO 3) Dora Cora b 1858 OH, d 1865 Bloomington MO 4)Lee b 1860 OH, d 1865 Bloomington MO 5)Luella b Apr 5, 1964 Bloomington MO, d Apr 5, 1946 Warren OH, married Levi Silas Cover, buried Newton Falls OH.From the dates, I'd say all his children were from 2nd wife, Anna, who was the sister of my g-g-grandfather Royal Mckenzie. They had a brother named Addison. Is this what you wanted, or do you need more Mckenzie's?Anna's parents were John Mckenzie and Sally Vanetten, and I have some of their info also.My other family names found on the Probasco site were TATE, and EPPERLY.Do our lines make a connection?Happy to share what I can.Kathy
