My mother is a Pritchett, the family goes like this:

Father: James (Howard?) Pritchett
Mother: Bessie (Sprouse) Pritchett
i. Martha Pritchett
ii. Maggie (Wood) Pritchett
iii. James Pritchett
iii. Jesse Pritchett
iv. Josephine Mildred (Mace) Pritchett - living
v. Alice (Henry) Pritchett - living

During WWII the government changed the spelling of Jesse to Pritchard due to some confusion. They were all from the Albermarle Va area. There were several uncle of my mother and aunts, I remember her speaking of aunt Rachel, Uncle Fed. Granddad passed before I was born but was extremely tall and did not have one gray hair in his head when he passed. Also, noteworthy this was granddad second marriage for which his family disowned him. During his previous marriage, (his parents were very wealthy) he owned a cement business which he left to his two children from the previous marriage. Let me know if you want more details. Lastly, this family has a dominant Native American gene which seemed to drown out the German which Bessie contributed to the gene pool.
