To Linda Glaus,
How can I persuade you that there are NOW enough points of conformation in the data to consider that we have made our case for "placing" Eliza Elvira (Fly) Prichett Krantz as the "Eliza Fly" of your in-family stories,( she having become widow of Sam Prichett) who married the Widower, Michael Krantz and reared all of Krantz's kids by her niece, Sarah Lourinda (Fly/Prichett) Kranz?
From all the work that's gone before, we know that there was a George Washington Fly, sr., son of John JESSE Fly. b. ca. 1788. George W., sr. was born ca. 1810, a youger brother of Jeremiah Nicholas Fly, b. ca 1807. George is seen in a Court Document ca. 1828. (Road Commitee - Carroll Co., TN.)) We need his marriage record from ca. 1831, producing three kids. Sarah Lourinda, b. 1832, Mary Jane, b. ca. 1837, and George W. Fly, jr., b. 1843.
Geo. sr. died ca. 1846.Wife must have died befoe her husband or near same time. Geo., jr. served in the Confederacy.
Eliza/Elvira, George, sr.'s sister, married Sam Prichett in 1847
Sam and Eliza/Elvira (Fly) Prichett adopted Sarah (Fly) sometime before Sarah married Mike Krantz 13 Mar 1848.
Eliza/Elvira (Fly) Prichett Krantz and Michael Krantz married 13 Sep 1875. She reared her niece's. This was well known throughout the family.
This interlacing of YOUR in-family stories and what I have brought up to go with them is complex of assembly for viewing and for cosideration as to total applicability; but we are NOT going to find another answer. THIS FITS.
