Greetings Gerald, Read your posting again and realized that some of the Hoxters are also from Ridgley, Md too. The census has them listed in Md. as early as 1776. Sarah Hoxter Free colored is listed in the 1810 Del. census. I have spoken to some of the Hoxter's and find them still to be in the areas of Denton, Ridgley, Union Easton, etc. I know nothing about the Pritchetts except for my Mother's and my generation. I do know the names of my greatgrand mother's parents and siblings names. Parents were James, who was @ 40 in 1850, his wife Hester, do not know her maiden name, also @ 40, children were Jeremiah 19, Margaret 16(my greatgreat grandmother) Elizabeth 14, Rachel 10, James 9, Warner 5, Hester 3. Margaret's brother James H's children were James W, Anita, Beatrice, Joseph, George E, Cleo---?, Edith, Robert C, Alice. Some of the names from my generation areWilliam, John, Wilbur, Vivian. Raymond, Howard, Harold, Bruce. I have just realized in the past year that we are related. We all live in the same neighborhood. Infact, we four of us are on the same street! Hope some of these names are familiar. Margarets generation names match with other Pritchett families not of color, but they will not correspond with me. Peace, AhdahmeeahYour email address does not accept mail
