Release of Mortgage Document dated 27 February 1816
There is a photo of the above original document on website http://www.familychest.co.uk/default.htm - you have to use the surname search to locate document number 0602003
This signed document relates to some property in Bosbury which John Pritchard had mortgaged to John Downes for £250 in 1797. It consists of:
1. Cottage called Stanley Gate with 4 acres of land.
2. Dwellinghouse called Stanley Mill together with 6 small parcels of land.
The Executors are now redeeming the mortgage by paying John Downes £273/6/6d to include the outstanding interest.
Susannah, the wife of John Pritchard, is also mentioned.
