Hello Chum, First of all Happy New Year. I have a family tree sent to me by a Mr Prinsep in Vancouver and it shows Arthur Haversleigh who married a Miss Hinder along with many other names that have been verbally handed down through our family,eg.Marie Lohr whom I believe was a stage or screen star.I believe one of my great great greatgrandfathers was from a family of eight one of whom went out to India.I am very interested in the origins of the name and have found it interesting in places where I have visited, like Prinsep St. in Singapore,lots of history in Perth, Australia as some of the family in India settled in Tasmania and Western Australia for health reasons.My niece has a limited edition of water colours painted on one of their trips from India. We have seen the Prinsep Estate,Prinsep Park in W. Australia.Would be interested in sharing info with you.
