Pringle & Vance marriage in Co Tyrone, 1850
Posted by: Ann Allen (ID *****6850) Date: May 07, 2008 at 04:56:19
  of 1467

I am not related but, in the course of my own research, I found the following:

JOHN VANCE from New York, USA, married Miss MARGARET PRINGLE from Killinaul townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, on 6th September 1850 in Minterburn Presbyterian Church, Parish of Aghaloo, County Tyrone.

The groom is an Editor by profession. His father's name is also John Vance and he is a Farmer. Margaret's father's name is Alexander Pringle, also a Farmer. The groom is noted as being of full age (ie over 21) and a bachelor. The bride is aged 19 and a spinster. The witnesses at the wedding were John Pringle and Alexander Pringle.

Hope this helps someone.
