FYI. Joshua listed on 1816 & 1818 Surry Co NC Tax List. Vet of War of 1812
2nd Co/2nd Regt of Surry Co Listed as Prumm/corrected to Primm Yadkin Co
Heritige Book Vol 1. Believed Joshua & Fam moved to Wythe Co Va. 1820-1830. Recd land Grant 11-3-1832 Wythe Co Va. 136 ace south side of New River Grant 81 Page 217. Recd Land Grant 3-1-1856 90 ace north side of Poplar Camp Mountain Grant 112 Page 284. Wythe Co Court Records May 9 1831. John Sanders,Horatio Jones, Samuals Fulks and Joshua Primm are to allot hands under Andrew Porter overseer of the road from Jackson Ferry to Poplar Camp Furance. Joshua on Wythe Co Va US Census 1840 & 1850. Joshua married Betsy Speer (b. 23 Jan 1782 Surry Co NC d. 1-23 1818 Surry Co NC) on 21 Dec 1807 NC Archieve Batch M516035 SN 0579. Son James Primm (b.1815 Surry Co NC d. 19 Oct 1879 Wythe Co Va). married Neaty Allen July 21 1833. .Joshua married Nancy Killon. Has two bond dates 10 Sept 1817 BM Caleb Primm and 5 Aug 1818 BM Thomas Pettit. First marriage
proably not vaid because Betsy still lived. No info on Nancy, I think she had
died in the 1820 s in another NC Co. There is a connection to the Chandler
Fam. Rutht Primm married Jacob Chandler on 16 Oct 1807 Stokes Co NC. Jacob died approx 1816 James Primm became guardian of Abner Chandler (son of Ruth & Jacob) from 1818 until at least 1831. (Surry Court Records) My GGrandfathers was through the Enochs (3) Hope this helps.
