I am searching for information on Benjamin Prime and his wife, Margaret who were in Osage, Mitchell Co., IA listed in the 1860 census and Margaret and son Edward were listed in the 1880 census. Benjamin and family migrated from Onieda Co. NY after 1850. Benjamin was born in 1814 in Connecticut. Osage cemetery records have Benjamin born in 1814 and died in 1872. In my Prime family records I have a Benjamin Prime born Aug. 29, 1814, son of Benjamin and Hannah (Tuttle) Prime. All these records say of him was that his wife was Margaret (Surname unknown). I am trying to establish if the Benjamin Prime of Osage, IA is the son of Benjamin and Hannah Prime of New Haven, CT.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
